We are pleased to report that Carlos Alos-Ferrer has been appointed Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Economic Psychology, from January 1, 2019. The International Association for Research in Economic Psychology (IAREP) is now inviting applications for a second Editor-in-Chief of the journal to work alongside Prof. Alos-Ferrer. The journal is interdisciplinary, focusing on the understanding of behavioral, in particular psychological, aspects of economic phenomena and processes. To reflect its interdisciplinary ethos and continue the journal’s long history of co-editorship, priority will be given to applicants in the discipline of psychology to complement Prof. Alos-Ferrer, an economist.

The proposed start date for the Co-Editor-in-Chief is July 1, 2019, for an initial term of 3.5 years, with the option of extending for another 2-year term.

Qualifications and major evaluation criteria of applications are:
-Expertise and academic excellence in economic psychology and related disciplines

-Managerial ability and time resources to maintain a thorough, fair and timely reviewing process
-Commitment to cooperate closely within the editor team and with guest editors for Special Issues
-Commitment to further enhance the standing of the Journal of Economic Psychology
